I was fortunate to get tickets for the Damned's return to
the 100 Club, and what a night it was!
Got
to the club at about 8:55 ..bit late and a bit tetchy just in case they had come
on early, but no.
First
album run through in its entirety, plus a selection of old faves, Captain did
'life goes on'. Sound was good, and the atmosphere was great..plenty of
comment from the crowd, plenty of riposte's from the Captain, Pinch got narked
with a beer thrower, Monty leaping around as usual, Vanian in good singing voice.
It amuses me how he observe's all the absurdities that take place at their gigs,
taking virtually no notice at all.

great night - I reckon this was top value - £15 to see a band this good
in a club this small, free t shirt etc...blimey!

the live cd, on sale within about 5 minutes of the end of the show is a blinder..thanks
for a great night.
